EXPERIENCES

BEACHES

Discover the Rías Baixas coast while enjoying Camping Paisaxe, a paradise on the banks of the Ria de Arousa. O Terrón beach may be the most famous sand strip of the region, but it is certainly not the only one; we are in a unique landscape location, in the countryside, surrounded by spectacular small bays and islands. Within the Ría de Arousa, we can find the beautiful beach awarded with the European Blue Flag called Area da Secada.

ENVIRONMENT AND GASTRONOMY

Different coastal destinations with a spectacular mild climate to spend unforgettable holidays enjoying the campsite and nature. Although the beaches are our differential value, the towns composing the region of El Salnés possess a rich artistic and cultural heritage.

O Cuadrante can also be found in the surroundings, the birthplace of the great Galician writer Valle Inclán, in Vilanova de Arousa, as well as the Campanario de Cálago (Cálago’s Bell Tower) symbol of the town holding the Norman attacks in the 9th and 10th Centuries, a must visit for history and literature lovers.

From the popular Fiesta del Albariño (Albariño Festival) or the Fiesta del Agua (Water festival) in Vilagarcía, through the great range of gastronomic events along the summer, promoting our seafood throughout the region.

The National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia is the first and only space with this category in Galicia, and the second one in the country together with the archipelago of Cabrera in the Balearic Islands.
The National Park comprises the archipelagos of Cortegada, Sálvora, Ons and Cíes.
In its waters we can find different types of sea floors and valuable ecosystems and hence its protection.
You can get to Ons and Salvora, through some shipping companies, some wonders located very close to us.

BOAT ROUTES THROUGH THE RÍA

A different way to delve deep into the waters of Arousa is plying them aboard one of the catamarans and boats docked in the port of O Grove. We can view the seabed of our Ría de Arousa, listen to great explanations about the cultivation and extraction of many products and enjoy delicious seafood accompanied by a good Albariño.
